The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, research and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops.

Full time employee needed at our facility in Waitsburg, WA. This position is responsible for organizing inventory to be sent to our retail locations.

Job Responsibilities

Seed Duties

• Loading, blending and moving product, including loading and unloading trucks, bin clean downs, shoveling wheat, etc.
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining accurate accounting of inventory
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; keeps paperwork and work areas organized; keeps safety and stewardship a priority.

Warehouse Duties

• Drive forklift
• Maintain accurate inventory in computerized program
• Operate equipment in a legal and safe manner at all times
• Reporting all equipment problems, failures, and accidents to the supervisor and assist with maintenance

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years Mechanical and Maintenance Experience
• State Pesticide license (or ability to obtain within a specified amount of time)
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Ability to travel within the market area of southeast Washington, southcentral Washington, and northcentral Oregon
• Works well independently, while ensuring effective team communication
• Ability to learn new tasks, honesty, and integrity

Position Details

• Position is located at Rollins South, 115 Garden Street, Waitsburg, WA
• Full Time hourly (40 hrs/wk) + overtime during peak seasons
• Short hauls, home every night
