We are currently seeking an Agency & Seed Treatment Specialist to join our team in Colfax. Reporting to the company Controller, the Agency & Seed Treatment Specialist will be responsible for supporting the general accounting functions of the organization with special focus on agency and seed treatment billing.

Job Responsibilities

• Process and monitor agency billings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Track, report and process billings for the Seed Treatment Team, providing detailed analysis and insights into performance metrics
• Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability. Address any discrepancies promptly and work on continuous improvement of the billing processes to align with company standards and objectives
• Duties may include/pertain to components of accounts receivable, invoicing, auditing and general ledger
• Provide back up and support to other accounting personnel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in a business-related field preferred
• Accounting experience in agriculture industry
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Detail oriented
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Dependable with a team-oriented focus
