The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, research and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops.

Are you a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined individual? If so, we are looking for an attentive person to run, maintain, and coordinate the movement of product in our facility’s warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day handling, maintenance and distribution of products (bulk and packaged) moving into and out of the seed warehouse
• Loading, blending and moving product, including loading and unloading trucks, bin clean downs, shoveling wheat, etc
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database
• Transport seed between facilities
• Pre and post inspection of truck and trailer
• Be able to clean trailer between seed varieties
• Be able to load and unload material yourself at facilities
• Be able to help at facilities when not driving
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining accurate accounting of inventory
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; keeps paperwork and work areas organized; keeps safety and stewardship a priority

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Mechanical skills
• Previous grain and/or seed experience helpful
• State Pesticide license (or ability to obtain within a specified amount of time)
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Forklift operator (or ability to become a certified operator)
• Class A CDL or Class B with doubles/triples endorsement and 2 years of current driving experience.
• Clean driving record
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Overtime will be required
